CISCE to declare ICSE, ISC results 2018 on May 14: All you need to know

The results of the ICSE Class 10 and ISC Class 12 examinations will be announced on May 14. The Council for Indian School Certificate Examinations (CISCE), which conducts the exams, will announce the result at 3 pm. "The CISCEcouncil will announce the results at 3 PM on May 14. The results will be made available through CAREERS portal, the website of the council and through SMSes," said CISEC Chief Executive and Secretary Gerry Arathoon. For results through SMSes, candidates will have to type ICSE or ISC followed by their seven-digit unique ID code and send the message to 09248082883.

How to download ICSE class 10, ISC class 12 result 2018 on May 14

Students need to follow the following steps in order to check the ICSE Class 10 Result 2018, ISC Class 12 Result 2018:

Step 1: Click on the Council for Indian School Certificate Examination CISCE official website cisce.org

Step 2: Click on either ICSE Class 10 Results 2018 or ISC Class 12 Results 2018

Step 3:  Enter the roll number and registration number

Step 4: Enter Summit

Step 5: Download the ICSE Results 2018 and ISC Results 2018

How to get ICSE, ISC results via SMS:

— For receiving the ICSE Result 2017 via SMS, create a new message text by typing out your Unique ID in the following manner ICSE <space> 1234567 (seven digit unique id)

— Send the message to 09248082883. ISC results can also be accessed via SMS in the same manner.

— The SMS result would be displayed along with subject-wise score as follows: Karthik Krishnan (Name of student) ENG-98, HIN-87,MAT-85... and so on

ICSE and ISC students can now also have digitally signed statement of marks and pass certificate which will allow them access to the results anytime, anywhere.

The board has also made a provision for students to apply for rechecking of marks.

The Council for Indian School Certificate Examination CISCE conducted ICSE Examination 2018 from 26 February till 28 March, 2018 and Indian School Certificate ISC Class 12 examination 2018 started from 7 February 2018 and on 2 April, 2018. The Council for Indian School Certificate Examination CISCE board will release the ICSE Results 2018 and ISC Results 2018 on https://bsmedia.business-standard.comcisce.examresults.net/ http://results.nic.in/.

Last year, the ICSE results were declared on 29 May, 2017 at 3 PM. This year, the ICSE 10th class exams were held from 26 February- 28 March, 2018.

Pass percentage obtained in the major subjects in the ICSE Examination 2017: English 99.82 per cent; Bengali 99.80 per cent; Hindi 99.93 per cent; History, Civics & Geography 98.84 per cent; Mathematics 95.63 per cent; Science 98.66 per cent; Commercial Studies 97.87 per cent; Economics 94.09 per cent; Physical Education 99.97 per cent; Computer Applications 99.99 per cent; Economic Applications 99.97 per cent; Commercial Applications 99.96 per cent.

* The pass percentage obtained in the major subjects in the ISC Examination: English 99.50 per cent; Bengali 99.84 per cent; Hindi 99.51 per cent; Economics 90.15 per cent; Commerce 95.52 per cent; Accounts 92.30 per cent; Mathematics 90.67 per cent; Physics 96.69 per cent; Chemistry 98.51 per cent; Biology 98.14 per cent; Computer Science 99.64 per cent

* For ICSE in India, the Southern region had the best pass percentage i.e. 99.64 per cent (33,245) followed by the Western region - 20,900 (99.64 per cent), Eastern region - 56,095 (98.22 per cent) & Northern region - 62,060 (97.85 per cent). Abroad, ICSE achieved 100 per cent.'

* For ISC in India, the Southern Region had the best pass percentage i.e. 98.97 per cent, followed by Western Region (97.99 per cent), Northern Region (96.01 per cent) and Eastern Region (96.31 per cent). Abroad, ISC has achieved pass percentage of 100 per cent.

* The number of schools that presented candidates in India and Abroad for the ICSE Examination 2017 was 2,106.

* The number of schools that presented candidates in India and Abroad for the ISC Examination 2017 was 988.
