The online registration for the entrance exam 2018 will begin from September 15, 2017. Candidates must keep in mind that the last date to fill up the JNU entrance exam application form is October 13, 2017. In the official statement, the University authority mentioned that the exam will be conducted on four days starting from December 27 (Wednesday) till December 30 in 53 cities across India and also in Kathmandu, Nepal. The University said that the part-time programs such as diploma and certificate courses will have 240 seats open.
They had made a declaration in May 2017 about the entrance exams for all courses being moved from the typical period between May and June to December. The proposal for this shifting of exam was put forward at the Academic Council (AC)’s formal meeting. Later on it was approved by the Standing Committee. The proposal was kept two years ago. The concerned authority after analyzing its feasibility throughout those two years finally shifted the conduct of the exam to December. However, the JNU Teachers Association (JNUTA) objected to the short notice served in pronouncing the decision and asked the authority to give more time for formal discussion on shifting its entrance examination.
Filling of Application Form: Candidates must keep in mind that they will have to register themselves first before filling up the Application form with important educational details. The Application process would require the candidate to upload their photo and sign it and to pay the application fees before final submission.
