Kerala SSLC 2018 result: 97% students pass exam; here are steps to download

The Kerala Board of Public Examination on Thursday declared the SSLC/Class 10 examination results on its official website, keralaresults.nic.in. The results are also available on kerala.gov.in and partner websites like results.itschool.gov.in, educationkerala.gov.in, cdit.org, prd.kerala.gov.in, results.nic.in and examresults.net/kerala. 

Education minister C Raveendranath announced the result at a press conference held in Thiruvananthapuram. 

According to reports, the pass percentage this year is 97.84 per cent. Some 431,762 candidates have qualified the exam and are eligible to pursue higher studies. This year’s results are better than those last year, with the pass percentage going up by nearly 6 percentage points.

Over 440,000 students appeared for the exam, conducted between March 7 and March 28, 2018. Of them, 216,000 were female candidates.

According to a Times of India report, 34,313 students secured A+ for all subjects. Ernakulam district was the best performing state with 99.12 per cent pass percentage.

The result is also available on the Android app 'Saphalam', which can be downloaded free on Google Play.
Steps to check Kerala SSLC Class 10 exam results 2018, once it's declared:

Step 1: Log on to kpbe.org ( you can also check your result by logging on to keralaresults.nic.in, keralapareekshabhavan.in, cdit.org, prd.kerala.gov.in, results.nic.in, educationkerala.gov.in, examresults.net/kerala)

Step 2: Select 'Results'

Step 3: Enter asked details (Registration Number and Date of Birth)

Step 4: Click on 'Get results'

Step 5: Save the result

The exams -- SSLC (regular), SSLC (private students) and THSLC (Private) -- are conducted by the Kerala State Education Board. Headquartered in Thiruvananthapuram, the Kerala board is also known as the Kerala Board of Higher Secondary Education.

The Board was established in 1990 by the Kerala government to oversee the organisation of SSLC and the HSC Board exams every year.
