OFFICIAL: Madras University Results For UG/PG Degree Declared

University of Madras (UNOM) declared the results of UG, professional degrees and PG courses

Sunday put an end to a long wait of the students in the state of Tamil Nadu as the University of Madras (UNOM) declared the results of under-graduate, professional degrees and PG (post graduate) courses. The results can be viewed on the University’s official site results.unom.ac.in.

The exams for the year 2017 were conducted in April and May at various centres in the state. It has been a practice of the University to generally announce the undergraduate and postgraduate exam results within 2-3 months of examination.

How to check your results: All the students of UG, Degree and PG exam results can check their results on their official page of the University’s site.
  1. Go to this page http://results.unom.ac.in/
  2. Select your course from the list.
  3. Enter your Register Number and click on the Get Marks tab
  4. Your marks will appear. Print it out for future use.
Dates for Revaluation/Re-totaling:
The University also accepts applications for Revaluation and Re-totalling of exam marks. All the students (UG, Degree and PG) from the years 2012-13, 2013-14 and 2015-16 can apply for revaluation of their marks between July 4 and July 10. For re-totalling, students of UG courses can take advantage of the facility between July 4 and July 10.

Students can also check revaluation results for other courses such as MBA (Dec 2016), MCA & M.SC IT (Dec 2016), M.A., M.SC., M.COM (Dec 2016) and other examinations here. Students need to provide Enrolment Number to check the revaluation results.

Re-accredited at the ‘A’ Grade Level by NAAC , The University of Madras (UNOM) is one of the oldest and prime universities of India. It has been regarded as “University with Potential for Excellence” by the UGC. It was founded with a Public Petition (PP) dated November 11, 1839. The University Board was set up under the presidency of George Norton. Finally in 1854, the Government of India created a systematic educational policy and constitutionally established it on September 5, 1857 by an Act of Legislative Council of India.
