PSEB Class 10 Result 2018: Punjab Board tells students to ignore rumours

Here are the steps to check your PSEB Class 10 result, once it's announced

The Punjab School Education Board (PSEB) on Friday asked students not to believe the rumours about the date of the result announcement and said the date for the  PSEB Class 10 Matric board exam result would be announced a day before the actual release.

PSEB Secretary Hargunjit Kaur said the board was yet to decide the date for result declaration.

The Punjab board had to issue a clarification after false reports on the declaration of results reportedly forced the website to crash several times over the past few days.

Students can check their results by following the steps given below -- after the results are declared:

Step 1: Visit  the official website - pseb.ac.in

Step 2: Find and click on the 'results' tab

Step 3: Enter asked details

Step 5: Click 'submit'

Step 6: Check and save your result

The website also allows you to register yourself to receive notification once the results are declared. 

Over 450,000 students appeared for the exam, held between March 12 and March 31.

The board had announced class 12 results on April 24, 2018. Accoridng to reports, the pass percentage for the result was 65.97 per cent.
