Eligibility Parameters:
Age: Minimum 25 and not exceeding 35 years for General category candidates as on 01.09.2017. For other castes: 1. Scheduled Caste/ Scheduled Tribe 5 years. Other Backward Classes (Non-Creamy Layer) 3 years 2. Persons with Disabilities (PWD PWD (SC/ST)-15 Years, PWD (OBC) - 13 Years, PWD (Gen) - 10 Years 3. Ex Servicemen, Commissioned officers including Emergency 5 years Commissioned Officers (ECOs)/Short Service Commissioned Officers (SSCOs) who have rendered 5 years military service and have been released on completion of assignment (including those whose assignment is due to be completed within one year from the last date of receipt of application) otherwise than by way of dismissal or discharge on account of misconduct or inefficiency or physical disability attributable to military service or invalidment. 4. Persons Ordinarily domiciled of the state of Jammu & Kashmir 5 years during the period 01.01.1980 to 31.12.1989.
Educational Qualification: Graduate with a degree in Law or a Law Graduate who has passed 5 years integrated Law course from a recognized University in India.
Experience: Law Graduates who have enrolled as Advocates with Bar Council and have at least 4 years of experience as Law officer in the Legal Department of Scheduled Commercial Banks / Financial Institutions (as mentioned in the web page of Indian Banks' Association under the link Member Associate) Or State Level Development Financial Institutions. (The experience should be after enrolment as advocate with Bar Council).

- Search for ‘Recruitment of Specialist Cadre Officers in State Bank of India’. Click on the Apply Now button. You will have to register yourself. Click on the New Registration Tab
- On the New Registration, fill in the required details and you will get your Registration ID and password.
- Now log in with new ID and password and follow the online instructions.
Documents To be Produced At Exam Centre: The candidates must bring one photo identity proof such as Passport / Aadhar / PAN Card / Driving Licence / Voter's Card / Bank Passbook with duly attested Photograph by the Branch Manager / Identity Card issued by College or Institution/Gazetted Officer in the official letter head, in original as well as a self-attested Photocopy thereof. The photocopy of Identity proof should be submitted along with call letter to the invigilators in the examination hall, failing which or if identity of candidates is in doubt the candidate will not be permitted to appear for the test.
