The Staff Selection Commission (SSC) is set to conduct the re-examination of Multi-Tasking Staff (Non-Technical) Examination, 2016 (Paper-I) from September 16 to October 2, 2017. The candidates are requested to visit the Commission’s official site for updates on the release of Admit Cards as soon as they are available. The SSC MTS 2016--17 Exam will be through online mode only. The Exam pattern has 100 questions to be attempted within a time limit of 90 minutes. This Re-examination of MTS Paper I has Objective Type & Descriptive Type questions.
For the understanding of candidates and helping them attempt the Test, the Commission has released a video tutorial that gives step by step instructions. Following are the steps that would help you understand the technicalities involved in this online exam followed by the video link.
The system requires two levels of password to confirm your login details. Level 1 is the login for Test Administrator and Level 2 is the Candidate's login details. You can login to your exam only after the Test Administrator logs in with his or her password. Once the Test Administrator completes the Level 1 login, the Login screen is then displayed. You have to complete a sample test session that will be similar to the Exam. Make sure you have your Admit Certificate or Admit Card ready. After submitting the Sample Test, a confirmation screen is displayed with the Sample Test Results. Now click 'Get Ready to Start the Exam' to begin your Main exam. Refer to the marked section for the marks awarded for correct and incorrect answers. On the upper-right corner, the Timer is displayed which will indicate the duration and time-left for the Exam.
Keep in mind that you will be able to submit the Final Test only when the planned time has been met. You get five minutes before the exam completion. The System will auto-submit your session once the time is up. Once you submit your Final Test, the Candidate Exam Result screen is displayed with the count of attempted and un-attempted questions. Click 'Exit' to quit the Exam session.
The video tutorial can be viewed here (English) and here (Hindi)
