Tamil Nadu 11th result 2020: The The Directorate of Government Examinations (DGE) Tamil Nadu has announced the TN 11th result today. The candidates who appeared for the TN 11th or Tamil Nadu class 11 exams can check their results on the official website of the board. Apart from the results of class 11, the results for class 12 re-sit candidates will also be released. More than 800,000 students have appeared for the exams that were conducted from March 4 to 23. The final exam scheduled to be conducted on March 26 was cancelled due to the coronavirus lockdown. The results would be sent through SMS to students’ registered mobile numbers.

Schools recorded 100% pass percentage
 

A total of 2,716 schools have recorded 100 per cent pass percentage. The overall pass percentage touched 96.04 per cent, improved from the last year.

The girls have outperformed boys, registering a pass percentage of 97.49 per cent. The pass percentage of boys is 94.38 per cent

Private schools perform better in Tamil Nadu 11th exam
 

The pass percentage among government schools stood at 92.71 per cent, while it was recorded to be 96.95 among the private schools. The overall passing percentage stands at 96.04 per cent.
