TS EdCET 2017: Web Counselling Begins Today.

The Counseling dates 2017 certificate verification for Telangana State Education Common Entrance Test (TS EdCET-2017) and web option notification have been made public by the Telangana State Council of Higher Education (TSCHE). Candidates can check the details available on the official website. The examination is conducted by the Osmania University, Hyderabad at the behest of the Telangana State Council of Higher Education (TSCHE) to select the aspiring candidates for admission to BEd (2 years) regular course in the Colleges of Education in Telangana for the academic year 2017-2018. As per the official word, the certificate verification and web counseling process begins today i.e. September 7 (Thursday) and ends on September 15 (Friday). Those candidates willing to change their options can change only on September 16, 2017 (Saturday). The TS EDCET candidates, who took for the state Common Entrance Test for admission to Bachelor of Education (BEd) programm, can read the notification now. "The qualified candidates of TS Ed.CET-2017 Examination are informed to attend the certificate verification for exercising online web options for admission into two years B.Ed. course for the academic year 2017-18, as per G.O. MS. No 24, dated: 24/08/2017, on the dates mentioned against their state-wide rank and methodology, in any one of the Helpline Centers."

Web Counseling For Many Subjects:
It is to be noted that the counseling will be implemented for five subjects namely English, Physical Science, Mathematics, Biological Science and Social Studies. And the counseling starts at 9 am. So far special category candidates are concerned; the counselling for them begins from September 7 to September 10, 2017. The notification mentions that mere attendance of web counselling does not assure a seat. A processing fee of Rs 600 (Rs 500 for SC/ST) needs to be paid along with the tuition fee as fixed by the government. More details are available at edcet.tsche.ac.in.

Important Documents For Counseling: Candidates are required to carry important documents as mandated for verification process. List of documents required for verification process includes TS EdCET Rank Card, TS EdCET Hall Ticket, All Study Certificates from Class 9 to graduation, Degree Certificate and memorandum of marks, Intermediate Memo-cum pass Certificate, SSC or its equivalent marks memo, Residence Certificate, Transfer Certificate, Aadhaar Card, Income Certificate issued on or after 01.04.2017, Caste Certificate issued by Competent Authority and PH/CAP/NCC/Sports/Minority Certificate- TS EdCET rank card and hall ticket Keep in mind that the Help Line Centres will undertake the verification of the biometric details provided by the candidates during the exam time of TS EdCET 2017. Also one need to know that attendance to certificate verification is mandatory.

Fees: Candidates need to pay the obligatory processing fee at the time of web counseling ( Rs 600 for unreserved category and Rs 500 for SC/ST.)
