Eligibility Parameters:
Age: Not exceeding 35 years as on normal closing date. Not exceeding 38 years for Other Backward Classes candidates as on normal closing date in respect of the vacancies reserved for them. Relaxable for regularly appointed Central/U.T. Government Servant up to Five years as per instructions/orders issued by Govt. of India from time to time.
Educational Qualification:
- Bachelor of Engineering or Bachelor of Technology in Mining Engineering from a recognized University or Institution or passed Section (A) (B) of the Institution of Engineers (India) examinations i.e. Associate Member of Institution of Engineers (AMIE) in Mining Engineering.
- Master of Engineering or Master of Technology in Mining Engineering from a recognized Board or Institution.
- Diploma in Computer Applications (of minimum six months) from a recognized Board or institution would be desirable.
- Four years’ experience in Metalliferous (Non-coal) mines in mine management position or in the Government Department dealing with mines and minerals as Gazetted Officer possessing the qualification of Bachelor of Engineering or Bachelor of Technology in Mining Engineering.
- Two years’ experience in Metalliferous (Non-coal) mines in mine management position or in the Government Department dealing with mines and minerals as Gazetted Officer possessing the qualification of Master of Engineering or Master of Technology in Mining Engineering.
- Inspection of Mines, checking violations of Mines and Minerals (Development and Regulation) Act and rules made thereunder.
- Advising mine owners on the adoption of appropriate technology for prospecting and mining utilization of low grade minerals and rejects, protection of environment in mining areas, beneficiation of minerals.
- Monitoring mining activities in accordance with the approved mining plan/scheme of mining. Technical data processing and retrieval as and when required.

Documents for Interview:
Qualified and eligible candidates will receive official communication from the Commission for interview. Candidates shortlisted for interview on the basis of the information provided in the online applications submitted by them will be required to send self-attested copies of documents/relevant certificates in support of the claims made in the application as and when demanded by the Commission.
