The four arrested persons including state minister Sabitri Mitra's son-in-law, accused of beating up Election Commission personnel, were remanded to five days' jail custody today.
Acting chief judicial magistrate Sumitra Dev passed the order when the four were produced before the court.
The four were Sabitri Mitra's son-in-law Samadip Sarkar alias Tinku, Motiur Rehman, Muklesur Rehman and Jamal Khan.
