Veteran BJP leader L K Advani today got a decisive lead of around two lakh votes over Congress candidate Kirit Patel in Gandhinagar Lok Sabha seat.
Advani, the five-time MP from Gandhinagar, got 358,389 votes while Patel polled 116,337 votes after eight rounds of counting.
As per the trends, BJP is moving ahead for a clean sweep in Gujarat, where the party is leading in all the 26 seats, riding on the wave in favour of their Chief Minister and Prime Ministerial nominee Narendra Modi.
