Taking the wind out of sail from Aam Aadmi party (AAP) leader Arvind Kejriwal's stand on political leaders using chopper service for personal usage, All India Women Congress President Shobha Oza on Saturday criticized Kejriwal saying, a leader who is now himself using chopper service should stop criticizing on others and understand the utility on his own.
"Arvind Kejriwal will slowly understand the impulsions such as time constraints which force political parties to opt for chopper services. He earlier used to act like an activist, now he is slowly transforming into a political leader, hence, he will be doing all the same things which other political leaders are forced to do." said Oza.
Coming down heavily on Bharatiya Janata Party's (BJP) prime ministerial candidate Narendra Modi's plan to hold an interaction with the women voters using his famous Chai per Charcha plank on the occasion of International Women's Day, Oza said, "It is very unfortunate that a Chief Minister who vouches for women empowerment is actually a hero who uses snooping as a tool to keep tab on women. Modi has given scant attention on increasing the percentage of women reservation in local governing bodies from 33 to 50%. Therefore, whatever Modi is saying is only keeping in mind the women vote bank.
