The CEO office in West Bengal is scrutinising a complaint against West Bengal Chief Minister Mamata Banerjee for allegedly making provocative remarks against the CPI(M) and BJP during an election rally.
"We are scrutinising the reports and we will send the complaint to Delhi," an EC official said today.
It was alleged that during an election meeting a few days ago the Trinamool Congress chief made provocative comments against the BJP and the CPI(M).
Meanwhile, commenting on Trinamool Congress's complaint against Congress vice-president Rahul Gandhi for alleged presence of school students at an election rally at Alipurduar recently, he said, "We do have a report. We are looking into it.
"We are scrutinising the reports and we will send the complaint to Delhi," an EC official said today.
