P C Chacko to contest from Chalakkudi seat

The Congress High Command today has decided to interchange the constituencies of P C Chacko and KP Dhanapalan, the two sitting MPs of the party.

Accordingly,  Chacko will take on film actor, Innocent, at Chalakkudi, while Dhanapalan will contest from Thrissur.

The Congress list for Kerala has dropped two sitting MPs, PT Thomas (Idukki) and Peethamabra Kurup (Kollam).
