Former IPS officer Kiran Bedi today supported Narendra Modi's Prime Minister candidature and said his (Modi's) leadership can take the country to the next level.
"I understand leadership and he (Modi) has huge leadership qualities. By and large other leaders have been tried and tested. I believe he can take the country to the next level," Bedi said here during an interaction on women security at the MCCI Ladies Forum.
Asked about former BJP president Nitin Gadkari's tweet on her to contest elections, she said, "The tweet was withdrawn."
Bedi prescribed a strategy to improve women security in the society and said a crime prevention plan based on it would be forwarded to the new government.
