Use of "indecent language" by Narendra Modi during his attack on opposition parties "mockingly" reveals his "weak" personality, Congress today said, a day after the BJP leader tore into the ruling party's manifesto calling it a "bundle of lies".

"The indecent language that Modi uses and keeps taunting his political opponents mockingly reveals his weak personality.

"You can get some clappings but cannot win elections by using such words. BJP and Modi should realise that peoples' hearts cannot be won by expensive campaigns," Congress spokesperson Randip Surjewela said.

He also advised him to learn from Sonia Gandhi and Rahul Gandhi and eschew from using "indecent" language in political discourse and "taunting" adversaries.

"People of the country expect from political parties a composed behaviour and positive agenda. BJP should learn from Sonia and Rahul and present positive agenda for their governance plans. He should desist from passing indecent remarks at opposition parties," Surjewala said.

The Congress leader also took potshots at the BJP over the "fight" among its senior leaders, saying, "As many leaders are in the BJP, so many are the ways and much more are the regrets."

"The greed for power is evident and Narendra Modi is consoling himself by putting replicas of Red Fort behind him. Everything is coming to the fore.

"Sushma Swaraj and Arun Jaitley are in a tussle for deputy prime ministership with one promoting himself through ally Parkash Singh Badal and the other doing it through Madhya Pradesh Chief Minister Shivraj Singh Chauhan and his senior minister Surendra Patwa," he claimed.

Surjewala alleged that despite being a senior leader Swaraj is publicly expressing her resentment over the decisions being taken by BJP.

"L K Advani, Murli Manohar Joshi and Harin Pathak have been forcibly sent to political wilderness and Jaswant Singh has been thrown out of BJP like a fly out of milk," he said.
