While BJP's Narendra Modi filed his nomination yesterday, so did Independent candidate Narendra Babulal Modi.
According to his affidavit, 49-year-old Narendra Babu Lal Modi is a businessman by profession and has a masters degree in commerce from SV College in Ahmedabad.
As many as 17 candidates are in the fray for the April 30 polls and last day for withdrawing nominations is April 12.

While Congress has nominated Madhusudan Mistry, Asifkhan Pathan is contesting on Samajwadi Party ticket and Kanabha Jadav is on Janta Dal (U) ticket.
