Tamil Nadu Chief Minister J Jayalalithaa on Saturday said she was looking to a meaningful cooperation with the Narendra Modi-led government at the Centre.
In her letter to Modi, the AIADMK chief said, "I congratulate you on the magnificent victory in the 16th Lok Sabha elections.
"I wish you and the government under your stewardship the very best and look to an era of meaningful cooperation between the governments of India and Tamil Nadu."
Jayalalithaa, during her campaign, had said there would be a "friendly government" at the Centre in which AIADMK would have a role to play.
In her letter to Modi, the AIADMK chief said, "I congratulate you on the magnificent victory in the 16th Lok Sabha elections.
"I wish you and the government under your stewardship the very best and look to an era of meaningful cooperation between the governments of India and Tamil Nadu."

The AIADMK won 37 of 39 seats in Tamil Nadu. The party became the third largest in Parliament after the Bharatiya Janata Party and Congress.
