BJP-led National Democratic Alliance (NDA) prime minister-designate Narendra Modi on Saturday said party leaders and supporters have made the Lotus, the symbol of the BJP, bloom again in Delhi after a gap of ten years.
Addressing a m,assive crowd of supporters outside the BJP headquarters soon after his arrival there from the IGI Airport to attend a meeting of the BJP Parliamentary Board, Modi said: "I thank the party workers for this win. Through their sweat and hard work, you have made the lotus bloom again in Delhi."
"There is new confidence that has emerged. I want to appeal to all of you to see this victory as belonging to the lakhs of party workers of the BJP," he added.
Earlier, Modi along with his supporters held a roadshow in the capital.
The BJP had decided to use his journey from the Indira Gandhi International Airport (IGIA) to the BJP headquarters as a victory procession.
In the board meeting, the party will discuss the future course of action, including the shape and structure of the new government.

The Delhi Police has issued a traffic advisory asking commuters to avoid certain roads that fall on or around the route that the Modi roadshow will take.
According to the advisory, from 10 a.m.onwards, no traffic exiting from Terminal-3 shall be allowed to go on the Central Spine Road and Tunnel Road and Aerocity.
All traffic shall be diverted straight towards Centaur Hotel and Mahipalpur on National Highway Eight.
BJP flags and posters of Modi have been installed on the route of the roadshow, and party flag-waving supporters of the BJP have expressed hope for good days ahead, and jobs, under Modi's stewardship of the central government.
