Congress vice president Rahul Gandhi on Friday said he would like to see Hyderabad to become number one IT city in the country and also to emerge as one of the hardware manufacturing hubs to be able to provide jobs for every young man.

"I will take brand Hyderabad all over the world. In the next five years every product should carry the tag Made in Hyderabad instead of Made in China. As your dream state of Telangana becoming a reality on June 2, I would like you to dream big for your future and Congress party will make it a reality,"he said addressing a rally in the city on his second visit to Telangana.

Focusing on the complex demographics of the city, Rahul said Hyderabad is a synonym of brotherhood between the people of different religions and different regions and that its development is a collective effort of all those people.

"While the city's future is also depends on the brotherhood and harmony among all the people of living here the parties like Telangana Rashtra Samithi (TRS) trying to create hatred between one another," he criticised while referring to a large section of Seemandhra population living in the city. He said Congess party will take responsibility for the protection of each and every citizen living here.

Talking his 'Made in Hyderabad' wish a bit more specific to please the responding crowds Rahul told them that he would like to wear a watch made in Hyderabad though he doesn't wear one at all now.

He also said Congess would fulfill all the promises it made to both the two states during the bifurcation and would also waive the loans of farmers in Telangana as the UPA government did in the earlier stint. Earlier in the day he addressed an election rally in Warangal town.

Union Minister Gulam Nabi Azad said TRS president K Chandrasekhara Rao were deceiving the people of Telangana by stating that his party had achieved the separate statehood for Telangana, he said. "To carve out a new state you need a government at the Centre, a majority in the parliament," he said.
