BJP nominee from Amethi Smriti Irani is likely to file her nomination papers here on April 16 to take on Congress vice president and sitting MP Rahul Gandhi.
Irani will first visit the temple of local goddess 'Budhan Mai' in Mishrauli near Gauriganj and will proceed from there to the collectorate of Amethi to file her nomination at around 12 noon, BJP media coordinator Ashok Patel said here.
Kumar Vishwas of Aam Aadmi Party is also contesting from the prestigious Lok Sabha seat.
