Ahead of the fourth phase of Bihar assembly election, Prime Minister Narendra Modi launched a scathing attack on the Grand Alliance in RJD Chief Lalu Prasad's home turf. Modi said people should not vote for "Jungle-Raj".

Referring to CM Nitish Kumar and RJD chief Lalu Prasad, the PM, in a rally at Gopalganj, said, "The duo will benefit their own relatives once elected. They don't have time for others. Gopalganj was dear to Laluji, but what did this area get? Didn't the area become Mini-Chambal? The maximum migration in Bihar happened from Siwan and Gopalganj. What compelled the Bihari youth to go outside looking for jobs? Who made them outsiders?"

Attacking the leaders of Grand Alliance over their choice of words, he said, "I wonder the people who have ruled Bihar for so many years are making such indecent statements. Why have they stooped to such levels? The reason is not because Modi has made any mistake nor done anything wrong. It seems your love for Modi prompts them to make such statements. The way your love for me is increasing, so are their abuses for me. The way the leaders of the Grand Alliance are reacting shows how much popular NDA is among the people."

Replying Kumar's accusation of him being a "Bahari", Prime Minister asked, "Nitish babu says I am an outsider. Bihar voted for me to become the Prime Minister, how can I be outsider? Do you call Sonia ji, who lives in Delhi, Bihari or Bahari?"

"You have put your faith in me in Lok Sabha polls. Trust me once again even in this Assembly polls. I will finish bhai-bhatijawad (nepotism) and bharshtachar (corruption). Give me a chance to serve you," Modi said insisting that the assembly poll in the state is an opportunity to punish those who are "looting" it.

He also listed over 30 alleged scams including fodder scam under RJD and JD (U) during last 25 years and asked voters to punish those who "looted" the state. "Scam after scam (ghotala par ghotala) happened. I am not talking about the scam in which your sir (Lalu) was convicted. I do not even talk about that fodder. These are the people with a long list of scams. Should they get a chance to engage in more such scams? Should people involved in such scams be punished or not? People, who looted Bihar in this manner, should be rejected forever," Modi said.

Reminding people of the coal and 2G scam during UPA, Modi said that there has not been any such scam in last 16 months since he came to power. "Did any complaint of corruption of even one rupee come out? They (rivals) heap all kind of abuses at me but none of them have accused me of corruption of even one rupee. If the loot of money in Bihar is put to an end, will it not be a service to Bihar?"
