Kerala Pradesh Congress Committee (KPCC) today decided to constitute fact finding committees for four zones of the state to look into the reasons for party-led United Democratic Front's (UDF's) poor performance in the May 16 Assembly polls.
KPCC President V M Sudheeran said that several complaints had been received from various quarters on the party's poor performance in the election.
"So KPCC decided to constitute fact finding committees for four zones of the state," he said after conclusion of a special two-day camp at Neyar, about 50 kilometres from here.
The committees have been asked to submit reports within three weeks, Sudheeran said.
There would be a total revamp in the organisational set up, from the booth to KPCC level, he said.
With a view to strengthen the rejuvenate the party, it was decided to prepare a vision document, Sudheeran said, adding that Congress legislator V D Sateeshan has been appointed as convener of the sub-committee to prepare the document.

Stating that everyone was responsible for the Congress defeat, he said that the party would go forward unitedly and rectification would be carried out wherever necessary.
To a question, he said that there would not be any reconsideration in the UDF's liquor policy.
The two-day camp also witnessed leaders criticising the leadership for the poll debacle.
Congress, lead partner in the UDF, got 22 seats, while its second largest partner, Indian Union Muslim League, won 18. Additionally, Kerala Congress (M) won six seats and Kerala Congress (J) one seat in the May 16 polls.
