Allahabad Bank has recorded a 107 per cent rise in net profit at Rs165.99 crore for the year ended March 2003. It has declared a 10 per cent dividend.
"A 10 per cent dividend translates into a 28 per cent yield on an annualised basis," said the executive director the bank, K K Rai. Operating profit grew 26.24 per cent to
Rs 515.83 crore against Rs 407.98 crore in the previous year. Income from treasury operation was Rs 336 crore against Rs 196 crore in the previous year.
