 "Aviva India announces launch of Aviva Next Innings pension plan")
Aviva India today announced the launch of Aviva Next Innings, a new age pension plan. In addition to the life cover, this plan also offers a guaranteed corpus of 210% of the total premiums paid, upon retirement.
While 1/3 rd of this corpus will be paid as lump sum upon retirement, the rest will be paid out as annuity to the customer. The plan also offers the flexibility to choose the policy term.
The Brand Ambassador of Aviva, Sachin Tendulkar on the occasion of the launch said, "As in cricket, in life too, you need to plan your next innings. I am very glad that Aviva has launched a product that will help people plan their retirement in a way they would like to live it." Aviva said that research showed that 86% of the work force in India have very little access to good old age income security.
According to Rishi Piparaiya, Director Marketing & Bancassurance, Aviva India, the plan returns more than double of what you have paid. He said that it is a unique combination of built in guarantee to protect your lifestyle along with the financial support for your family in case you are not around.
