Bank of Maharashtra has posted 92 per cent growth in its net profit at Rs 100.42 crore for the second quarter ended September 30 as compared to Rs 52.3 crore in the same period last year. Net revenue has risen by 36.44 per cent to Rs 1,945.15 crore from Rs 1,425.61 crore.
The bank’s net interest income rose 37.6 per cent to Rs 1,800.39 crore during the period. Non-interest other income has also seen a rise of 23 per cent to Rs 144.62 crore. Profit from retail and other banking operations stood at Rs 58.07 crore and Rs 11.65 crore, respectively.
