Bharti AXA to expand in Kerala

Bharti AXA General Insurance Company Limited is set to expand its network in Kerala by setting up operations in Alappuzha, Pathanamthitta, Malappuram and Palakkad shortly. The company already has a presence in major locations like Kochi, Thiruvananthapuram, Kollam, Kottayam, Kozhikode and Thrissur, said Amarnath Ananthanarayanan, CEO, Bharti AXA. The company had launched its operations in the state by setting up its branch office in Kochi in March 2009. The state accounts for 2 per cent of its revenues , which is set to grow to 6 per cent by the end of 2010.
