Canara Bank has reported a 73% dip in its net profit to Rs 102.30 crore for the fourth quarter ended March 31, 2005 as compared to Rs 384.12 crore in the same quarter last fiscal. Total income has increased from Rs 2292.96 crore in Q4-04 to Rs 2493.25 crore for the quarter ended March 31, 2005.The bank has registered a 17% decline in net profit to Rs 1109.51 crore for the year ended March 31, 2005 as compared to Rs 1338.01 crore for the year ended March 31, 2004. Total income has increased from Rs 9079.83 crore in FY-04 to Rs 9115.80 crore for the year ended March 31, 2005.According to a release issued by the bank to the BSE, the board has declared a final dividend of 30%.
