A leading public sector bank, Central Bank of India (Link: https://www.centralbankofindia.co.in) has invited applications for Credit Officers and Risk Managers in Middle Management Group (MMG), Scale II (Specialist Category) vacancies. The bank is looking at filling up 61 posts through this recruitment drive. Interested candidates have to register online before September 30, 2016. Applicants will be shortlisted through an online examination, tentatively scheduled for November 4, 2016.

Eligibility criteria
Interested candidate must be either a citizen of India, or a subject of Nepal, or a subject of Bhutan, or a Tibetan refugee who came over to India before January 1, 1962, with the intention of permanently settling in India, or a person of Indian origin who has migrated from Pakistan, Burma, Sri Lanka, East African countries of Kenya, Uganda, the United Republic of Tanzania (formerly Tanganyika and Zanzibar), Zambia, Malawi, Zaire, Ethiopia and Vietnam with the intention of permanently settling in India. Those who are not a citizen of India should be able to provide a certificate of eligibility issued by the Government of India.
For the post of Credit Officer MMG, Scale-II (specialist), the bank is looking out for graduate with full time MBA in Finance from AICTE / UGC approved University/ College with aggregate of 60% marks. Graduate with PGDBM in Finance from AICTE / UGC approved University/ College with aggregate of 60% marks, or pass in final examination of the Institute of Chartered Accountants of India (ICAI) can apply too.
Candidate with B.Tech or MCA with MBA (Finance) from AICTE / UGC approved University/ College with aggregate of 60% marks is eligible to apply for Risk Managers MMG, Scale-II (specialist) post. M.Sc. Maths from AICTE / UGC approved University/ College with aggregate of 60% marks, or M.Sc. Statistics from AICTE/UGC approved University/ College with aggregate of 60% marks, or
MBA (Finance) or its equivalent from AICTE / UGC approved University/ College with aggregate of 60% marks can apply too. Candidates with FRM/CFA/Diploma in management/SAS/SPSS/Oracle/DB2 and two years of experience in Banking/Risk Management/Credit/Treasury will be preferred.

All keen candidates should be minimum 20 years of age and maximum 30 years as on September 30, 2016. Operating and working knowledge in computer systems is mandatory. Educational qualifications should be from university recognised by Government of India or approved by Government Regulatory Bodies and the results should have been declared on or before September 30, 2016.
Relaxation in upper age limit to SC/ST/OBC candidates is allowed on cumulative basis. OBC candidates in the “creamy layer? will be treated as General category.

9. Upload the photograph and signature as per the specifications given
10. Carefully fill in the online application and click on Save and Next
11. Verify the details in the online application form and modify the same if required.
12. Click on Final Submit button
13. Make the payment of requisite fees/ intimation charges using Debit Cards (RuPay/Visa/MasterCard/Maestro), Credit

The test will be available bilingually, i.e. English and Hindi. All questions will be objective type with five options. For each wrong answer, one fourth or 0.25 of the marks assigned to that question will be deducted as penalty. If a question is left blank, there will be no penalty for that question.
All eligible candidates will be required to download their call letter for on-line examination and the Information Handout from the bank’s website tentatively after October 20, 2016. Date of commencement of downloading interview call letters for all the posts will be intimated by way of separate notice on the website.
The selected candidates will be on probation for a period of two years from the date of joining, unless a competent authority reduces the period of probation or dispense with probation. Their confirmation in the bank service will be decided in terms of the provisions of the Central Bank of India (Officers) service regulations and the same will be communicated in writing.
