Foreign lender Citi has appointed Ravi Kapoor as the head of its global banking in India with immediate effect.
Kapoor, who has 22 years of experience in banking and capital markets, had been earlier with ICICI Group and DSP Merrill Lynch, a release said here today.
In this new role, Kapoor will report to Citi's country head Pramit Jhaveri and head of global banking in Asia Pacific, Farhan Faruqui.
He will be responsible for the coverage of the US- based bank's largest institutional clients via a full suite of world-class corporate banking, lending, capital markets and advisory products, the release said.
