The Centenary Celebrations were flagged off with the Foundation Day Lecture which was delivered by V Leeladhar, deputy governor of Reserve Bank of India. The topic of the lecture was 'Managing Talent in Banks'. |

As a part of the centenary year, the bank has planned several development projects such as setting up a library, rural development activities with thrust on education and launching innovative products including technology-driven products. |

As a first step, the bank launched the Corp Kisan Card "" a debit card tied up with VISA international. This is to enable farmers to make timely purchases for their agriculture operations. |
