Corporation Bank of India today reported 16.8% rise in net profit at Rs 144.24 crore for the first quarter ended June 30, 2006 when compared with Rs 123.52 crore in the corresponding quarter a year ago.According to a release issued by the bank to the BSE today, total income increased 19.7% to Rs 917.59 crore from Rs 766.35 crore in Q1FY06.
