Deutsche Bank has appointed Gunit Chadha the co-chief executive of its Asia-Pacific business. He shares the post with Alan Cloete.
Chadha is the chief executive of the bank's operations in India, while Cloete heads the lender's global finance and foreign exchange business.
The appointments are effective from June 1. Both Chadha and Cloete would join the bank's global group executive committee as well.
Chadha, a veteran banker with experience in retail, corporate and investment banking in the US and India, joined the German lender in 2008, after stints with Citibank and IDBI Bank.
The bank is yet to name a new chief executive for its India operations.
