The board of directors of Federal Bank and Lord Krishna Bank (LKB), which met today, decided to call off the on-going discussions for merger of the two banks.According to a release issued by Federal Bank to the BSE today, the two sides could not reach a mutually agreeable valuation for the merger proposal.
