Federal Bank to add 8 branches in Gujarat

Riding on its consistent growth, Federal Bank is set to expand its footprint in Gujarat by adding eight branches to its current network of 20. Nationally, the private bank is looking to add 100 branches on a single day on March 10, 2012, across India in order to offer customer centric relationship based banking service using the latest technology enabled products.

This will take the total branch network to 938 branches. In Gujarat alone, the bank's expansion of eight new branches will take the total number of branches to 28 in the state. In Western Zone comprising Gujarat, Maharashtra and Rajasthan, the Bank will open 14 new branches taking the total number of branches to 115.

This includes additional 4 and 2 new branches in Maharashtra and Rajasthan respectively. In the Zone, the Bank will open branches in Maninager in Ahmedabad; Makarpura in Baroda; Bhuj, Gandhidam, Kamrej, Metoda, Kalawad Road in Rajkot; Varacha in Surat (all in Guajarat); Borivali & Malad West in Greater Mumbai; Tilak Road in Pune; Shahapur near Thane; Malviya Nagar & Vidyadhar Nagar in Jaipur.
