Foreign exchange reserves zoomed $3.062 billion to $140.60 billion for the week ended July 29, 2005 when compared with the previous week, according to the weekly supplement released by the RBI today.Foreign currency assets increased $3.066 billion to $134.587 billion. Gold reserves and SDRs were unchanged at $4.453 billion and $4 million, respectively. The Reserve Tranche Position with the IMF declind $4 million to $1.556 billion.
