Future Generali India Life Insurance Company, a joint venture between Kishore Biyani-led Future Group and Generali Group of Italy, is looking at launching an insurance product for women in the current financial year. The company would also offer micro insurance and bundled insurance products.
“We are planning to come out with two to three more products. These may include women- related insurance products, micro insurance and other bundled insurance products,” said officials of Future Generali during launch of ‘Future Anand’ here on Monday.
The insurance company is likely to launch these products in the next two to three quarters. “Our new product Future Anand, a double benefit endowment-cum-whole life plan, is aimed at both urban and rural populace,” said Manoj Iyer, VP and zonal business head (cental zone India).
Both Future Group and Generali have pumped in Rs 502 crore for the JV, which also sells insurance products through Future group malls and outlets.
