The bank currently has only one branch in the city at Akkayyapalem. Speaking to mediapersons here on Saturday, P Raghunadha Rao, chairman, Kanakamahalakshmi Cooperative Bank, said that the bank will open its second branch at Gopalapatnam by the end of this fiscal. |
"We want to expand our presence by opening one branch every year in the city," he said. |

Last fiscal, the bank's total deposits slipped marginally to Rs 26.75 crore as compared to Rs 26.88 crore in the previous year. |
