The company with a headcount of 5,000 has development centres in Pune, Hyderabad and Chennai. Nearly 4,000 of its employees are based in the country. |

"We currently have 2,800 people in Pune, 1,200 in Hyderabad and 100 in Chennai. We plan to increase this tally to 3,000 people each in Hyderabad and Chennai," said Cyprian D'Souza, who has recently taken over as managing director, India, and director (operations) for Asia, Europe and emerging markets. |

"The company will move into a 3,000-seater campus in Hyderabad in this quarter. It has also acquired 30 acres in Chennai. We plan to have a 3,000-seater campus in Chennai as well," he said. |

On new investments in the country, he only said, "So far we have invested Rs 130 crore here." |

D'Souza said, "We are working on a strategic plan to increase focus on Europe and the Asia-Pacific. Our presence in these regions so far has been limited to servicing the global operations of our multinational clients." |

On the cards is a development centre and marketing office in China. "China is an emerging global giant. Establishing operations here will give us better access to neighbouring countries," he said. |
