Karnataka Bank raises Rs 200 crore via issue of bonds

Mangalore-based private sector lender, Karnataka Bank, has raised Rs 200 crore by issue of unsecured non-convertible subordinated bonds to augment its lower tier-2 capital.

The bonds are in the nature of debentures on private placement with a tenor of 10 years, the bank said in a release to stock exchange today.
