The bank is currently disbursing amounts upto a maximum amount of Rs 15,000 per month. MMCB officials said the limit of Rs 15,000 would continue till Friday.
There won't be any disbursements on the next two days - as on Saturday the bank staff would attend to the half-yearly closing work and Sunday being a holiday.

It is learnt that the largest number of depositors (about 1.25 lakh) fall in the Rs 15,000 segment. So the repayment process to the depositors from this segment may spill over and continue into the next week, they added.
The schedule of steadily increasing the repayment amounts to the successive brackets of Rs 20,000, Rs 25,000 and above, till the figure of Rs 1 lakh is reached, would be decided on Monday, the officials revealed.
As there are 2.96 lakh accounts to be paid a total amount to the tune of around Rs 461.30 crore, it is believed that repayment process might take at least a month to get over.
Meanwhile the issue of setting up a new 11-member board of directors to take over the management of MMCB is still to be decided.
However, the process of mobilising the amount of Rs 800 crore from different Gujarat-based cooperative banks as per the MMCB revival package is learnt to have begun with the Ahmedabad District Cooperative Bank (ADCB) committing Rs 100 crore.
Once these two issues - board of directors and pooling of Rs 800 crore - are sorted out and completed, MMCB will commence normal day-to-day operations and clearing work.
