  • Trading in gilts was subdued in view of the Rs 6,500 crore state loan auction.
  • The benchmark 7.27 per cent 2013 gilt ended flat at 5.03 per cent.
  • Call firmed up a tad to 4.55-4.60 per cent level in view of the state loan auction.
  • There was routine demand for funds from banks to cover their daily reserve requirements.
  • The RBI received 21 bids aggregating Rs 7,090 crore at the one-day repo auction.
