Financial services firm, Morgan Stanley today said its Indian Chief Executive and Country Head Narayan Ramachandran will step down from his current role next month.
In a release issued here, the company said that Ramachandran decided to resign from the full time charge to pursue personal interests in entrepreneurship and public service.
Morgan Stanley's Asia Chief Operating Officer, Scott Gaynor, will take the additional responsibility as company's Acting Country Head for India.
A full time India Chief Executive Officer will be announced in the future, the company said.
Joined Morgan Stanley in 1996, Ramachandran held senior global positions within Morgan Stanley Investment Management, notably heading the Firm's Global Emerging Markets and Asset Allocation businesses.
Morgan Stanley has 1,200 offices in 37 countries worldwide.
