PNB gives loans to 518 customers

More than 175 customers dealing with 30 branches of Lucknow participated in the function titled "PNB Monsoon Hungama" today. Keshav Agarwal, general manager-PNB (UP east zone), distributed sanction letters amounting to about Rs 25 crore to its customers under various lending Schemes.
 
A total of 518 new customers have benefited under this scheme. This includes 39 customers who got traders' loans, 52 housing loans while 297 got education loans.
 
"The bank has set up two exclusive retail finance branches in Lucknow to ensure speedy delivery of the bank's retail lending products," said JP Tripathi, deputy general manager, Lucknow.
 
He further informed that the bank has also introduced some new lending products namely "PNB vivah loan", "PNB paryatak loan" and "PNB arogya loan" which are available to customers on easy terms and conditions.
 
The zone has made advances aggregating Rs.625 crores during the previous year and Rs. 275 crores in the current year.
