RBI to introduce cash-settled interest rate futures on new tenures

The Reserve Bank of India (RBI) has decided to to introduce cash-settled interest rate futures (IRFs) on five to seven year and 13-15 year government securities (G-sec). RBI has also decided to modify the residual maturity of cash-settled 10-year IRF to between 8 and 11 years.
