The spot rupee, which slipped to an intra-day low of 43.85 per dollar, closed at 43.78 per dollar as against the Monday close of 43.77 per dollar.The Rs 8,000 crore auction sailed through today. Bond prices were range-bound with a traded volume of only Rs 1,200 crore.The 10-year, 7.38% 2,015 bond closed unchanged at Rs 104.65 at an yield of 6.75%.Liquidity was easy with call rates at 4.60-4.80%. The reverse repo bids totalled Rs 34,265 crore.
