The spot rupee opened at 43.54 per dollar, and closed a tad higher at 43.53 per dollar today.The mood was bearish in the government securities market as prices fell in the beginning of the day, but went up towards the close of trading today.The 10-year, 7.38% 2,015 bond closed at an yield of 7.17%.Call rates ruled easy at 5.05-5.10%, and reverse repo bids totalled Rs 18,000 crore.
