The relentless fall of the rupee continued Friday with the Indian currency losing by 5 paise to close at yet another low of 48.41/42 against the dollar.
With this, the rupee lost ground on four consecutive trading sessions, losing 0.3 per cent during the week. On a year-on-year basis, the Indian currency has dipped by Rs 1.75 (3.75 per cent).
Forex dealers expect the rupee to fall to the level of 48.6 by next week.
