State Bank of India (SBI) has extended the period for accepting term deposits of Rs 15 lakh and above but below Rs 1 crore in the 1 year and above category at 8.25% per annum to March 31, 2007 w.e.f January 22, 2007."Senior citizens would be offered an additional rate of 0.50% p.a. over and above the rate for deposits of one year and above," an official release said today.
